I’ve been waiting patiently (not really) for a new Monica McCallan book and it was worth the wait. A Life Worth Living is the perfect enemies-to-friends-to-lovers slow burn and I could not put it down. The book follows co-workers Nora and Gray as they grow closer on their trip to Bermuda (which they both won as a reward from their boss) and how they continue that friendship once they’ve returned. Gray might be one of my favorite characters ever. She’s honestly too good for this world. Her and Nora have fantastic chemistry from the start, even if Nora wants nothing to do with Gray at first. I really enjoyed this book and think it might be one of Monica’s best. I loved the near kisses, even if they almost killed me. The post-its are extremely cute and had me loling most of the time. I highly recommend this book!
